Today in class, I only had about 30 minutes to work because the substitute didn't show up. In the time that we got to have work time, I just added some requirements to the second drink label that I started before the weekend.

Today in class, I continued working on my drink labels. For the Kale Crazy drink label, I added a barcode, a recycle label, and the fluid volume. I also started my second drinking label called, Red Dragon. I still need to add some more things on both of the drinking labels.
Today in class, I started on the drink labels assignment. I only got to start on one drink label. Tomorrow, I will try and finish this drink label and start on the second one.
I decide to change the word "travel" to the word "rivers". I just used the paint brush and paint bucket to create this word design.
Today in class, I added some things on my website to try and make it better. I added some information about myself, a way to get in contact with me for a resume or any other regards, and a photography tab for future postings of my photos. Tomorrow, I will try and finish up the word designs.
Today in class, I started on my 3 words design assignment. The first design I created used the word "sunset". I used the type tool and the ellipse tool. The second design I used the word "earthquake". I used the lasso tool and drew crack marks in the letters. The last design I didn't get to start designing yet. I want to use the word travel. I was thinking of making a world map in the letters. Today in class, I learned how to do text and filter. We are going to pick 3 words and we have to design the words so that it looks like what it is saying. Just like the word down below. We are going to use Photoshop to create the words. The overall goal is to filter upon filter, layer upon layer, technique upon technique.
Today in class, I watched some behind the scene Pixar clips, and worked on the Graphic Organizer Print Versus Web worksheet. I learned that raster graphic are composed of pixels and vector graphic are composed of paths. Also, I found out that there are different file types that I could save my work in. The native file formats uses Adobe Illustrator (.ai) and Photoshop (.psd). The vector based formats uses Encapsulated PostScript (.eps). The raster based formats uses JPEG (.jpg), Graphics Interchange Format (.gif), and Tagged-Image File Format (.tiff). The multipurpose formats uses Portable Document Format (.pdf). Lastly, I learned what the differences are between RGB (Red+Green+Blue=White) and CMYK (Cyan+Magenta+Yellow=Black). RGB mode is an additive color model. Where as, CMYK is a subtractive model. Additive color models use light to display color and subtractive color models uses printing inks.
Today in class, I finally finished my magazine cover. I added the text and barcode for the final touches. For the barcode, I went into photoshop and created a new page. I then went to filter and clicked on noise, to create the lines. I didn't get a chance to start the Beginning Typography yet, but will be the first thing I do tomorrow?
Today in class, I continued working on my magazine cover. I decided to change my dog magazine to a cat magazine instead. I changed the text so that it represents a cat magazine, and edited my cat photo using the masking tool. On Monday, I need to add the barcode and more text, and then I should be done.
Today in class, I got to continue working on my magazine cover. I added my dog's photo on the cover and some text. I got a lot done, but still have more editing to do.
